Join Head Start family service workers, parents, teachers, directors, and partners as we convene in Western Maryland at the Wisp Resort to celebrate Head Start parents and learn and share strategies to lay and strengthen the foundation of families across the state.
This is an interactive workshop that will provide an overview of various college and university programs in Maryland and describe the roles of faculty members and how they can support Head Start programs. Participants will: 1) describe specific program needs, 2) identify potential academic programs that can help meet program needs, and 3) explore ways to create academic partnerships or strengthen existing partnerships.
