Limited Capacity filling up

Children’s math skills at the start of formal schooling pave the way for their future success in school and later jobs.   This means that the math‐related experiences children have before they start kindergarten provide an important foundation for their later success.  Research shows that there are many ways that parents can provide their children with important math experiences at home.  This workshop, appropriate for parents, teachers and staff, will provide an overview of the math skills young children need to know and ways that parents can foster these skills through fun engaging interactions with their children.
